Jaya Pritada was born 3 April 1962 Age 55 Years in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. She is a Very beautiful and Most popular Indian film actress. Jaya Prada mainly works in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali movies. She was made her acting debut Telugu film Bhoomi Kosam in 1974.
Apart from films she is also involved in politics, she entered politics in 1994 through Telugu Desam Party. But following differences with N. Chandrababu Naidu she left TDP and joined Samajwadi Party in 2004. She contested for General election in 2004 from Rampur parliamentary constituency in UP and won the election by margin
