Carly Rae Jepsen to Offer Free Concert on Upcoming Carnival Cruise

Carly Rae Jepsen performs onstage at the Paramount on March 26, 2016 in Huntington, New York.
(4:45 p.m. EST) -- Sailing on Carnival Splendor's February 17 cruise to the Mexican Riviera? You can now look forward to free concert by Carly Rae Jepsen, the singer-songwriter behind the smash hit, "Call Me Maybe."
Jepsen will perform on Carnival Splendor's Lido Deck February 18 while the ship is at sea. The show is part of the line's Carnival Live Concert Series program, which usually requires tickets (ranging from $30 to $80).
"While I've performed all over the world and on Broadway, I've never performed on a cruise ship before and I'm really looking forward to a night with my fans in what promises to be a unique venue for an incredible night," Jepsen said in a statement released by Carnival.
Past Carnival Live performers have included singer-songwriters Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Nick Jonas, who put on two shows this past fall, as well as comedians Jim Gaffigan and Chris Tucker.
The February 17 Carnival Splendor cruise will span one week and include a full-day call on Puerto Vallarta and two nights in Cabo San Lucas. Cabins are still available for booking on carnival.com.
